After 42 years of learning, teaching and most of all experiencing the camaraderie of so many friends, students and fellow martial artists with the common goal of making the world a better place to live - I have decided to no longer run a commercial studio.
As of February 1, the Tracy's Karate Studios of Springfield, Missouri will close its commercial doors. Dedicated and Serious Students who wish to continue studying under my tutelage will need to meet at my house where I can concentrate, in the true martial arts tradition, on developing those few who really wish to learn.
My commercial phone number of so many years is now turned off and I will give my cell number to those who continue with me. I will only accept potential students who are referred to me by existing students.
My wish is to continue on my journey and share it with those who wish to follow without the appearance of commercialism.
